Foundation is great! Read it if you didn't. Also if you like it much read whole series, not all so good as the foundation, but all are nice.

Even I've read The foundation, it's really a great book, and Asimov is great Sci-fi writer.

I read that before. Typical Asimov. There was a similar story with a giant computer that had to answer "is there a God?". After a lot of time and phases (like this story) and further development of the computer the final answer was: "Now it is".
Fun stuff.
