View Full Version : Wish me luck

I know what you are probably thinking when you read the title, but no, I'm not going to quit WoW or leave DL. :D
Maybe some have noticed that I haven't been much online lately but I have a good reason for that and I wanted to share it with you guys and girls :P
I've been bussy.
Yesterday I mailed my first finished book to a publisher. I expect a conformation that they recieved it soon. But it can be months untill I will know if they like the story and if they want to publish it. So I have to wait and see how that goes.
Besides my book I'm also starting a shop, beginning with an internet shop. I'm going to sell jewelry, hand made jewelry and the materials to make jewelry. Maybe in the future I will set up some sort of workshops or something.
As you can imagine there are a lot of things I have to arrange before I can actually start selling. Last Friday my mother and I have visited our first trade center where we bought some stuff we can sell.
I'm very excited and I want to start as soon as i can but next week Garandar and I are going to Paris for the Blizzard Worldwide invitational.
We will probably start selling our first jewelry and materials when we come back.
So as the title says, wish me luck. :P
I will be online again some evenings of the week.

Good luck.
What is the book about?
Euhh it's about lots of things actually :P
The main story is that of a young girl who is going back to a group of old friends that drove her away 5 years ago to warn them that something terrible is going to happen to them. Meanwhile a druid is trying to rescue his Love. Apart from that a group of people is looking for the young girl because they think she is the key to finding the lost city of Erishna.
It's a fantasy roman or something...

BTW Garandar kindly reminded me that export means selling stuff outside of Europe :P
So I'm reinstalling the english version of the site and trying to translate it... Anyways, if anyone would be interested it should be possible to sell Jewelry outside of the netherlands :D

Feist was, just like you, someone who roleplayed with friends alot. He wrote a fantasy book based in the world they always RP-ed in. Now, many years later, he has many books and I think i read them al 2 or 3 times.

It means good luck in showbusiness (ex: theater, film etc). to say Break a leg to a writer or shop owner means just that: literally break a leg:D

I think that more then 1 person has to read it and then their will be some sort of meeting where they discuss how they like the story...
I wouldn't be suprised if they haven't come the the typo's part after 3 months.

We are still working on our PayPal and iDEAL payment methods but appart from that the site should be up and running and ready to sell some stuff. :D
Here is the link:

Lots of typo's there Suraia ;)
Anyone from the UK care to correct my corrections below? ^^
Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in, or would you prefer to create an account?
Suraia's Jewelry Shop is an internet shop for jewelry, hand made jewelry and materials to make jewelry yourself.
Part of the jewelry that can be bought from Suraia's Jewelry Shop is totally handmade and available as long as the stock lasts.
At this moment we are trying to add more methods to pay, like PayPal and iDEAL, to the site. Hopefully they will soon be ready for use.
We are still translating the site to English.
This is taken from the front page only, there's a lot more that could use a 2nd opinion though ;)
