Just wondering since the introduction of Arena Tournaments etc, does anyone run any BG Teams?

Would be interested in Taking part in one, if not, will consider forming one 2-3 Times a week, primarily over the weekends. :happy2:

I stopped DL premades some time ago because they alwayas fail. DL basicly sucks, and I prefer pugging or joining with 1-2 ppl.

the way our most premades are made sucks....there is no balance in classes...and most are formed by LF more for premade

i'd love to join some premades that have some requirements (like 300-350 min resilience for ex ) and have some balanced class compositions.....but if we do some 5 rogues/3locks/2druid teams than i'm not interested :P

Note: my priest has 465 resi :D

Problem is with putting a Resilliance requirement on a team means that anyone that has high resiliiance won't want to do BGs cause they get their Gear from Arena, so Honor points are useless to them.

Mainly aiming for 10 PPL for AB/WSG and some EoS. At least some resilliance (Like 100-200) will be nice but generally good players. For Example, Raiders who want to get some honor for S2 Gear (when it's released) so they can PVP in their spare time for fun, or break into Arena.

Setup will probably resemble something like:

Hunter
Mage
Warlock
Priest
Rogue
Druid
Druid/Paladin
Priest/Paladin
Warrior
Shaman/Druid/Warrior

Will be fine for WSG, and in AB 9 of us will defend 3 Bases, with the spare man helping the other 5 Pug guys get a 4th. Not so familiar with EoS Tactics, maybe similar to AB, I dunno.

Well, anyway, if this goes ahead, will have a go at making one Sunday/Saturday afternoons.

Main aim of the games will be Fun, not honor, but Winning will be our target and honor will be a very nice bonus.

The problem is that most battleground pre-mades is nothing more then a PuG that joins together.

Which is why a well orchastrated DL team will pwn most of them :D

another thing that sucks is the gay queue time with premades. and pve gear is fine for BGs too, hell dps'ers can carry 0 resi imo if they need down the efc fast with it. but well if you want to win some WSG's, join up with me, I win most pugs :P

Really? How different is it? Usually I get 10 seconds queue and get new games.

when you queue with more you sometimes have to wait several minutes

I'd rarther wait 3-4 mins and have a much bigger chance of winning, than Join in 1 min and risk being joined with bad players.

And I'm not even sure it will make that much difference anyway, If we have 10 then it means the BG server only has to match up the horde side, so it's half the work done.

I'm just sharing you my experience, and last time I did a premade I got annoyed by the queue times and the poor play by some ppl and just closed wow

there is a new pvp trinket 40k honor, GOGO

There is lots of crap to buy for honor when s4 hits even if you're full s3 now.
As for premade combo you basically need at least 1 healer per group (5 pers) and a high res resto druid/pve geared tank to flag run. And you need ppl that can actually pvp:D
Res is important for some classes not so important for others.
The main point in wsg/ab/eots is comunicating and being able to work together. 2ppl that usually do arena together (I wont give names) can easily handle 3 strangers even 4 if they really suck:D
I'm up for premades for the fun of it though we failed alot in the past with all guild runs.

Got the 40k trinket the moment I found out about it Rob. + 20 resilience has to be the crappiest upgrade for a pvp rogue but still its an upgrade:D

Disc priest can flag run Rob, especially if they are imba (like you) :). Rogues can do it preatty well too.
However the 2 classes I mentioned have an easier time doing it and sice we're talking about making an ideal premade...

Robje

ideal premade would only want druids as fc, and maybe a preperation rogue for 1 flag (or more rogues), because they can move quick, and with a good premade they should be able to score when entering our base ;)
