Season 1 gear bought with honor

Season 3 is likely to start when the Zul'Aman patch (Patch 2.3) is launched, however there is a chance that it might be delayed to some time after the release of that patch.

Additionally it should be interesting for you to know that once season 3 have started, it will be possible for you to buy Season 1 gear using honor points (approximately 15k/piece).

Arena gear is better than t4 on pvp and worse on pve (just like it should be), exept for retris arenagear>tier whatevers :P

I didnt mean to insult any1, ofc Its nice to have tier 4, but when season 3 gear comes out (tier 6) and season 2 gear becomes cheaper(t5)..you have to admit that it is bit *outdated* ^^

I've seen it. Actually I even have it :P
It drops only in Heroic mode. I think I killed that boss twice :P Zurion told me something like "you know this trinket.. " and it also dropped that run! was funny.

not rly, you will become uncritable from the defense (415 for druids)

if u are critted than u are not a tank and if u are not critted than the resiliance is useless

Still resilliance also reduces the chances u are critted and u can use some resilliance to complete your missing +defence points

When Season 2 started, most of the players already had some of the Season 1 items, and an avarage 100-200 resilience.
When Season 3 will start, most players would have ~300 resilience (I mean, casuals)

So for a fresh new character (like an alt), going in arena with no PvP gear would be very difficult. However, the honor can be farmed very easy, and getting the S1 gear would provide with a decent start in arena.

Nub raz is wrong. Resilience for Druids is very useful when gaining gear cause we don't have +def on set items. And then every resilience helps (+there are some imba tanking items as well).

let's say u changed ur clefthoof set and ur earthwarden... you will lack exactly 42 defense to get to 415 :P so this is imba if u lack defense

This change is also in line with the rating requirement for S3 weapons - another very good change, that will hopefully make the average Joe to try better or fuck off.
