The weapons so far what I have seen on PTR have the same graphics, all the season 2 weapons have the same look as season 1, bit dodgy if you ask me as you won't be able to tell whether someone has season 1 weapons or season 2.

It is very funny to see that Tier 2 Gladiator cloth armor has more armor value then leather one (not to mention that they also have more stamina).

So basically at this point, the armor type really doesn't say anything or that it brings any advantage to the classes who weer a heavier armor.

This deny the basic combat concepts, and shows that Blizzard really need to make his mind about game balances once and for all. And instead of patching every class at every week, make one and clear patch that should balance all the combat and classes.

Although its very needed for us i agree with you that it sucks it has more than leather. The problem is simple, retarded melee dps , coming up with numbers on max dmg and dps on weapons totally out of some1 ass without any balance whatsoever , and they realize too late and don't wanna piss off poor carebears raiders so at least they wanna do what they owe to the poor cloth wearers who suffer the most.

The armor and block on the shield, is, afaik, spent from the "item budget" of the item. Not to mention, while a mh + oh for caster can mean _more_ dps than a 2h staff, a 1h+shield will almost never be more damage than a 2h.
