Hey guys,

I will get a GM shammy these days for some tests. First thing i want to do, is to try some enhancement builds (yes, i know they are gimped) in order to see how this class/build works in arena/bg.

If anyone had any good shaman guides or can link to some builds please post them here. I i'm interested mostly for:

1) 2-handed enhancement pvp build

2) dual wield enhancement pvp build

And of course, i I'm open to any suggestions :)

What's that for Tee? you have both DW and 2-hand weapon. Toughness is the worst talent in the enhancement tree, anticipation is better.

Well, for sure i will go dual wield (as tonight i will buy 2 GM fist weapons). As i get this shaman for limited amount of time, i want to test it - so i want to see the difference between dual wield / 2-handed weapon. Also 1 point in 2-handed weapon is not a huge investment.

About toughness vs dodge.. you might be right, i will make some math when i will be home and see the final armor value of the shaman.
Problem with dodge is that 5% dodge, reduce 5% dmg only from hits. While armor reduction applies also to crit hits. If the bonus amount of amor reduce the dmg by 5%, then is better then 5% dodge.

So you managed to acquire a Shaman, with what sounds like decent gear, and with ~45k unspent honor?

I smell haxx...

or possibly a private realm.

Yeah, a FM shaman with 45k honor.. The guy let me choose some good weapons for enhancement as he plan to use a similar build / weapons for leveling to 70.

I choosed 2 fist weapons as their are cooler then the 2 axes. :)

PS: Shammy is on Hakkar server.. if you wanna make some duels :p

I wouldn't trust anyone else to spend my 45k honor for me... since it's my char..

I'd end up with a Shitty Battle Standard and 10 Billion Potions.

Even so, Horde fist weapons look poop compared to their axes/maces.

Last night i have tested the dual wield SS enhancement shaman. Wielding 2x High Warlord's Cleaver and have 30% crit, 780 AP (UNBUFFED, only with Strength Totem) i got the following results.

All these tests were made against a cloth with 10% dmg reduction (as any magic armor is purged anyway) and is the math for the first hit on enemy (normal swings + SS attack + wind fury proc + earth shock)

Main hand - 300 / 650
Off hand - 150 / 350
Stormstrike main hand - 300 / 650
Stormstrike off hand - 150 / 350
Earthshock - 700 / 1,100
====
Minim damage / maxim damage - 1,600 / 3,100
With 30% crit, with little luck you can get 2 crits which means on you will do with your average Stormstrike + Earthsock 2,150

====
Windfury Proc 650 / 1,100
Windfury Proc 650 / 1,100

If windfury procs (and with windfury on both weapons it has like 37,5% proc chance) damage goes to:

Minim / maxim 2,900 / 5,300

Even without have no crits on Windfury attacks (as we crited twice on normal hits) the average hit on Stormstrike when Windfury procs goes to 3,450

====
Windfury Proc 650 / 1100
Windfury Proc 650 / 1100

If windury procs from both weapons (liek 8% chance), just for the fun of doing the math futher you will get:

Minim / maxim damage: 4,200 / 7,500
